In detail (about my trip):
Why :
I’m one of those people who are not satisfied with the “normal” way of life (study, work, marry, build a house and have children, take satisfaction in this life and than die)!
I need something more! Nothing against people who don’t, I just do!
Where in hell’s name did/do I get the money?
1° : for the past 2-3 years I lived like the biggest skinflint on things like food, travel, clothing, luxuries. except going out and have fun! Couldn’t even if I tried, beside most of the times we’re just dropping by someone’s home!
2° : In Belgium we have something called “interrupting your career” you get paid (not much, but everything is welcome) and then go back to the same job! For me: I can use this for one year and then I’m firing myself.
3° : All of the previous doesn’t mean I’m rich now! (if I only was J) I’m still planning to do some work along the way ( that’s also a moment to relax)
Planning:
the way I see it now I’ll departure on bike the 14th of June.
I’ll ride trough France and Spain (to study the languages) and by September I’m crossing over to morocco (from here on most probably without bike)
If all goes well I think I can do it in 2-3 years, but I don’t want to pin myself to a fixed date so 4-5-…years is a possible.
